<p>Sujata Chaudhri IP Attorneys is inviting applications for two positions in its patents practice in Noida: Junior Patent Associate and Patent Associate. The roles focus on patent searches, drafting and prosecution for technology-related inventions.</p><h2>About the Organisation</h2><p>Sujata Chaudhri IP Attorneys is an intellectual property law firm established in 2014. Its practice includes patent prosecution, intellectual property advisory, and IP disputes and enforcement.</p><h2>Role</h2><p><strong>Junior Patent Associate:</strong> One opening for applicants with 1–2 years of relevant experience.</p><p><strong>Patent Associate:</strong> One opening for applicants with 2–4 years of relevant experience.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Conduct patent and prior-art searches and analyse relevant technical disclosures.</li><li>Prepare patent specifications and claims.</li><li>Assist with patent prosecution work, including responses to examination reports and amendments to claims where applicable.</li><li>Support patent-related matters involving technical and scientific subject matter.</li></ul><h2>Eligibility / Requirements</h2><ul><li>Relevant patent experience matching the selected position: 1–2 years for Junior Patent Associate or 2–4 years for Patent Associate.</li><li>Strong technical understanding, analytical ability, attention to detail and patent drafting skills.</li><li>Familiarity with patent databases and Indian patent practice.</li><li>Relevant technical qualifications and experience in patents are preferred.</li><li>For the Patent Associate position, backgrounds in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related technical fields are preferred.</li><li>Registration as an Indian Patent Agent is an added advantage for the Patent Associate role.</li></ul><h2>Location</h2><p><strong>Noida, Uttar Pradesh.</strong> The opportunity is office-based.</p><h2>How to Apply</h2><p>Email your CV to <a href="mailto:hr@sc-ip.in" rel="noopener noreferrer">hr@sc-ip.in</a> with the subject line <strong>Application for Patent Role – [Position] – [Your Name]</strong>.
