Role Overview
Evaluate AI-generated responses to challenging legal problems and help improve the accuracy, reasoning, and practical quality of AI systems working with legal issues. The role focuses on assessing legal analysis involving case law, contracts, and regulations, providing clear written evaluations, and delivering feedback to improve model performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and compare AI-generated responses to challenging legal problems.
- Assess model outputs on case law, contracts, and regulations for legal accuracy and reasoning.
- Provide clear explanations of output performance, focusing on legal soundness and client-readiness.
- Deliver written feedback to improve model behaviour and reasoning.
- Participate in onboarding and specialty calibration sessions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold a J.D., LL.B., LL.M., or equivalent law degree.
- Have at least two years of professional experience in legal practice or research.
- Have strong experience in legal research and writing, including case-law analysis.
- Demonstrate excellent written communication and strong attention to detail.
Additional Details
- The engagement is described as a contract position, with independent-contractor terms.
- Compensation is stated as $90 per hour.
- The expected commitment is 10–20 hours per week.
- The role is remote.
- The role starts immediately, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
