Role Overview
Evaluate and compare AI-generated responses to challenging legal problems, helping improve the accuracy and quality of AI reasoning about case law, contracts, and regulation.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and compare AI-generated responses to challenging legal problems.
- Assess model outputs involving case law, contracts, and regulation for legal accuracy and sound reasoning.
- Provide clear explanations of model performance, focusing on legal soundness and client-readiness.
- Deliver written feedback to improve model behaviour and reasoning.
- Participate in onboarding and specialty calibration sessions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold a J.D., LL.B., LL.M., or equivalent law degree.
- Have at least 2 years of professional experience practising or researching law.
- Have strong legal research and writing experience, including case-law analysis.
- Demonstrate excellent written communication and close attention to detail.
Additional Details
- The role is remote and offers a flexible workload of 10–20 hours per week.
- The role is engaged on an independent-contractor basis.
- The role starts immediately, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
