Role Overview
Mentem Legal is seeking an Associate to work on diverse legal matters across multiple practice areas, collaborating directly with clients and senior lawyers in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on corporate and commercial transactions.
- Conduct detailed legal research and analysis.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements and legal documents.
- Lead due diligence exercises and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage client relationships and provide strategic advisory services.
- Stay current with evolving legal and regulatory frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience
- LLB from a recognised Indian university.
- Freshers to 2 years experience at a law firm or in-house.
- Strong expertise in corporate and commercial laws, privacy and data protection, and labour and employment.
- Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
- Strong client communication and advisory capabilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and ability to adapt.
