The Department of Law, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies, Delhi, is organising the MAIMS 7th National Moot Court Competition 2026 in hybrid mode. The online inaugural and preliminary stage will take place on 30-31 October, followed by offline knockout rounds on 20-21 November 2026. Cash prizes total INR 1,15,000.

About The Organiser
The competition is organised by the Department of Law and the MAIMS Moot Court Society at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies, an institution affiliated with GGSIP University and recognised by the Bar Council of India.
About The Event
The MAIMS 7th National Moot Court Competition 2026 provides law students from across India a platform to demonstrate advocacy, legal research and analytical skills. It will be conducted in hybrid mode.
Eligibility
- Students pursuing a full-time three-year LL.B. programme.
- Students pursuing a full-time five-year integrated LL.B. (Hons.) programme.
- The institution or university must be recognised by the Bar Council of India or another equivalent competent authority.
Team Composition
- Each team must consist of exactly three members: two speakers and one researcher.
Competition Structure
- Inaugural Ceremony: 30 October 2026, online.
- Preliminary Rounds I and II and Researcher's Test: 31 October 2026, online.
- Quarter-Final and Semi-Final Rounds: 20 November 2026, offline.
- Final Round and Valedictory Ceremony: 21 November 2026, offline.
Prizes
- Best Team: INR 51,000.
- Runner-Up: INR 31,000.
- Best Speaker: INR 11,000.
- Best Researcher: INR 11,000.
- Best Memorial: INR 11,000.
Registration Fee
The regular registration fee is INR 5,000 per team. An early-bird fee of INR 4,500 applied to registrations completed by 20 August 2026. Qualifying teams may opt for accommodation for an additional INR 3,500.

Registration Process
Teams must complete the brochure-provided Google registration form, pay the applicable fee and upload the payment UTR or reference-number screenshot in the form.

Teams qualifying for the quarter-final round may opt for accommodation for an additional INR 3,500.
